  The reason why desire is dangerous is why crime rate in each country of the world is going up. When desire becomes uncontrollable, it will certainly lead to a tragic end that may not be easy to survive from.   People took risk in doing incredible things just to satisfy that desire they have for something because the thought of committing crimes, getting into toxic relationships and joining bad peer pressure groups does not suddenly become a lifestyle it was first desired.    Do not forget it was the same desire that made Eve taste the forbidden fruit and gave some to her husband which caused them their stay in Eden Genesis 3:6. Also, the same desire made Esau sell his birthright to his younger brother just because of hunger Genesis 25:29-34.   As human beings, what boost our expectations to push through in life no matter the circumstances surrounding us is the desire we have to succeed.   Embracing Christianity, and living your daily life in accordance to its doctrine changes every aspect of your life which the evidence is by the fruit you produce.     Also, mind you that fruits are not only produced when one is a Christian, because even a non-christian can equally produce fruit certainly because life was created to produce, and to reproduce life which the process of life reproduction is also a season of bearing fruit.    So, Knowing that both Christian and non-christian can bear fruit, " who are those according to Matthew 7:16a that will know them by their fruits ?" I do not think the scripture was referring to non-christian, but to a Christian.    The term "know" according to internet dictionary is to be aware through having observation, making inquiry and gathering information.     My question is, what observation, and inquiry or information a non-christian can give about christianity that he is not part of?    To answer the above topic question

        Knowing who God really is says it all, because if it is actually his word then it a sure thing. But most people will ask, why is it not actively working for them in their trialing times?       The bible clearly state the fact about the transfiguration of man into an immortal being either into the abode of God called heaven or in the abode of satan called hell. The bible further explain about the afterlife, how the present life will determine the permanent placement of life after death for its eternal existence.      Death is inevitable because it is a price everyone clothed in human flesh will oneday pay, but after death, the event of Hebrews 9:27 takes effect immediately to decide eternal destination of the departed soul.          Also, there is a death that leads to eternal life, and death that leads to eternal death known as the second death(Revelation 20:14-15). Of which some people do question God for allowing them pass through such kind of painful situations, but the fact still remains that no matter how deeply hurting and tempting it might be, it is never too difficult to walk out of such trialing and challenging moment of life victorious.       Trial is a faith tester because there is no way a person can prove its full confidence, and commitment towards something without going through life challenging test. A time of trial is a time to examine the persons level of confidence, and maturity to the life he/she submitted its totality to live for.       If God’s mercy is actively working on your behalf, it says no to anything opposing your destiny. Mercy does not need your permission to defend you, or clear your name from  the accuser( Revelation 12:10b ) that wants nothing but to destroy you because it is the benefit you enjoy when you are at peace with the advocate of mercy.   Yes, the accuser will say or do all manner of things to hide your destiny but if mercy is at work for you be rest assured that he accuse in vain.      Meeting with mercy, gets you in contact with favour in the sight of men that matters.             A child is a blessing from God to the parents( psalm 127:3 ).
